U.S. Announces Restrictions on Technology Exports to China This Week

On October 3rd, it was reported by foreign media that the United States is expected to announce new measures later this week to restrict access to high-performance computing technology from Communist China companies, according to three sources familiar with the matter.

The measures aim to cut off Communist China’s access to advanced semiconductor technology, sources familiar with the matter said, and the new restrictions are believed to come as early as this week. Other foreign media also reported that Washington also plans to restrict sales of U.S.-made microchips to Communist China’s most powerful supercomputing and data center projects.

The Biden administration plans to expand restrictions on U.S. exports of semiconductors used in artificial intelligence and chip-making tools to Communist China in October.

The White House did not immediately respond to a request for comment, and the Commerce Department declined to comment.

This restriction on the export of high-tech products to the CCP (Chinese Communist Party) has worsened the economy of the country. Would all industries in Communist China go back to the Stone Age without high-tech chips?
