US dignitaries once again visited Taiwan, the island has become a focal point for international politics

Following visit of Taiwan by House Speaker Nancy Pelosi, dignitaries from multiple countries have visited Taiwan one after another and expressed their support for the island country. Despite the Chinese communist Party’s (CCP) constant threats, the trend of dignitaries from various countries to visit Taiwan continues to increase.

On August 24th, U.S. Senator Marsha Blackburn led a delegation to Taiwan, the fourth visit by an American politician in this month. Blackburn’s office said the delegation was welcomed by Taiwan’s Foreign Ministry Director-General Douglas Yu-Tien Hsu in the airport.

Blackburn said, “Taiwan is a strongest partner for the US in the Indo-Pacific area. Regular high-level visits to Taipei are long-standing US policy.” This message is consistent with what Speaker Pelosi said in her previous visit to Taiwan, “The United States will not abandoned Taiwan despite China(CCP)’s threats.”
