TikTok Brings Large Numbers Of Employees From Communist China To US

According to the Center for Immigration Studies, ByteDance, the parent company of video platform TikTok, is taking advantage of foreign worker programs overseen by the Department of Homeland Security to bring large numbers of employees in Communist China to work in the US. ByteDance reportedly has employed 579 foreign workers through the H-1B program this year alone, an increase from previous years. In addition, it is noted that the majority of ByteDance’s foreign nationals involved in the H-1B and Optional Practical Training (OPT) programs came from Communist China and India. Although TikTok claimed the organization in the US was independent from Communist China and all US user data were stored in Virginia and Singapore, most of its employees came from Communist China. As of this August, a total of 300 employees of TikTok and ByteDance, including senior executives, reportedly have worked for state-owned news media serving as CCP’s propaganda machine. Christopher Wray, director of US Federal Bureau of Investigation, has previously warned that there was an urgent need to focus on TikTok’s infiltrating operations in the US, which have posed a significant threat to US national security.
