Many Places In Henan Mobilize People To Work At Foxconn To Relieve Its Struggles

According to the Epoch Times reported on November 19th, 2022, Foxconn’s Zhengzhou production line, previously caused by the Chinese Communist Party (CCP)’s extreme zero-Covid and quarantine policy resulted in a humanitarian crisis, employees fled from the factory on a large scale. A few days ago, the CCP administrations in many parts of Henan Province began encouraging veterans and grassroots party cadres to support Foxconn’s Zhengzhou factory. These people were asked to work at Foxconn’s Apple factory to help restore production. The Veterans Affairs Bureau of Changge County, Xuchang City, Henan Province, issued an official document on November 16th urging veterans to respond to the government’s appeal, which suggested that they appear where they are supposed to, referring to the Foxconn Zhengzhou factory. On the evening of November 16th, a screenshot of Foxconn’s recruitment notice circulated online, saying that a town had given preferential policies for grassroots cadres to go to Foxconn’s assembly line to work in the short term. The deputy section-level cadres, backup cadres, and well-performed village cadres would earn at least 13,000 CNY per month. Some of them could also gain priority for promotion for their outperforming.

 According to the official media “”Henan Daily,”” the first batch of new employees has arrived at Foxconn’s Zhengzhou factory. By the evening of the 12th, Foxconn Zhengzhou had received nearly 20,000 new job seekers. According to the regulations, they must stay at the quarantine site for three days before going to work. New employees will receive a bonus of up to 1,600 CNY for the first four days on the assembly line and a 500 CNY bonus for workers who previously left the assembly line and returned to their jobs.
