Multiple Locations In Ukraine Shelled Causing Water And Electricity Outages’

On October 31st, Russia once again launched airstrikes on several Ukrainian cities, including the capital Kyiv. The airstrikes have caused water and electricity outages.


Anton Gerashchenko, a senior adviser to the Ukrainian interior minister, said that Russian forces fired at least 40 cruise missiles at Ukraine. At least five explosions occurred in Kyiv on the morning of the 31st, local time, additionally, the cities of Cherkasy and Kharkiv also reported air raids. The casualties are still currently unknown, it was only reported that several infrastructures were damaged and some areas were bombed until water and power were cut off. Gerashchenko pointed out that the Russian airstrikes are not yet over, and advises the Ukrainian residents to stay in shelters. The aggressors are once again targeting Ukrainian energy infrastructure, and the terrorism against energy continues.


U.S. Ambassador to Ukraine Bridget A. Brink posted on social media that Russia continues its callous and barbaric missile attacks on Ukraine in an effort to leave the country cold, and dark as winter approaches. Like millions of Ukrainians, the U.S. Embassy team is taking shelter.
