Jho Low and His Father were Found Guilty of Contempt of Court.

Jho Low and his father were found guilty of contempt of court on October 18th by a court in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia. Both of them will be imprisoned indefinitely.

In the 1Malaysia Development Bhd (1MDB) case, Jho Low is a crucial figure. Jho Low made a RM1.5 billion settlement offer to the Malaysian government in July of this year, but it was turned down. Former Malaysian Prime Minister Najib Razak was fined $50 million and given a 12-year prison sentence for corruption by the Supreme Court in August.

Meng Jianzhu, a former Secretary of the Central Political and Legal Affairs Commission of the Chinese Communist Party (CCP) is Jho Low’s biological father. In 2017, Jho Low paid American rapper Pras Michel, a former attorney at the Department of Justice Higginbotham, former finance vice chairman of the Republican National Committee Elliott Broidy, and Nickie Davies in attempts to influence Trump administration to drop its investigation into the 1MDB case and the judicial investigation of Jho Low, as well as to deport Miles Guo. This was done at the direction of Sun Lijun, then a vice minister of Public Security of the CCP. As of right now, a guilty plea has been entered by Hegenbatham, Broidy, and Nickie Davis.

Despite the fact that Jho Low is still currently missing, Miles has declared that he will unquestionably be extradited to the US and prosecuted for the crimes he committed.
