Chinese Communist Party Calls on Educational Sector to “Tighten the Belt”

On Oct. 11, the government of Anqiu City, Shandong Province in Communist China, issued a notice titled “”Practice radical thrift, oppose wastefulness””, calling on the employees in the city’s educational system to “”tighten their belt”” to live, the context of the notice includes to comprehensively reduce departmental expenses, to strictly control the entertainment and travel expenses, to strengthen the management of consumption of electricity and water, to strictly control the usage of office supplies, and also to strictly prohibit waste of food.

 Last year, there was news of teachers’ salaries being cut in Suzhou and Shenzhen. In June, due to teacher’s salary cut, there were protests by teachers in Yantai, Shandong Province, which caused conflicts at the scene.

 Currently, Communist China’s economy is in serious decline under the Zero-COVID policy, local fiscal crises have erupted, which has affected the income of the public school teachers, because most of the schools are funded by the local government, including the educational employees’ salaries.

 The secondary disasters caused by the Zero-COVID policy has not only causing the irreversible damages to Communist China’s economy but also let the ordinary Chinese to witness the reality of economic collapse.
