Russian Rapper Chose To Suicide Rather Than Being Forced To Kill Ukrainians

Russian rapper Ivan Vitalievich Petunin did not want to be enlisted in Russian army, who reportedly chose to commit suicide in protest on October 1.

Thousands of Russian men, women and children have fled across the border to neighboring countries after dictator Vladimir Putin issued a partial mobilization order for military conscription.

Russian rapper Ivan Vitalievich Petunin, whose stage name known as Walkie, took his own life in the southern Russian city of Krasnodar to avoid being drafted to fight in Putin’s barbaric war.

The 27-year-old musician Ivan Vitalievich Petunin said “I can not commit the sin of murder and I don’t want to. I am not prepared o kill for any kind of ideals.” Petunin said taking his own life was ‘a way to express his final protest’. (Photo Credit: Credit: East2West)

The 27-year-old musician published his final video message on social media in which he said that he did not want to kill for any ideas.

“To murder someone, whether in war or otherwise, is something I cannot do. I have no right to carry a gun and shoot at people.” “I am not ready to take the responsibility to carry a weapon and kill people.”

Petunin said sadly in the video, “We have all become captives of a maniac, who gives us either the choice of jail or the army-or the choice I made.” As a supporter against the war, suicide is the Russian rapper’s final protest against Putin’s dictator!
