Denmark to Visit to Taiwan by End of 2022

It was reported by the local media on August 21st, politicians from six political parties of Danish Parliament said that they will arrange a delegation of parliamentarians to visit Taiwan after the Danish election.

The report said that the parties supporting the plan visit Taiwan include the second largest party in Denmark, the Liberal Party of Denmark, the Danish People’s Party, the Red-Green Alliance, the Radical Left Party and the Democratic Party. Spokesman of Liberals diplomatic police Jensen stressed, now Taiwan needs support of Denmark and they must hold fast to this. He said that the Chinese Communist Party (CCP)’s intention of instigating Taiwan must not be allowed to succeed and let it go unpunished.

According to reports, numerous foreign groups will visit Taiwan before the end of 2022. Among them, Keiji Furuya, the member of the House of Representatives in the Diet of Japan, will lead a delegation to visit Taiwan on August 22nd. Then the House of Commons of Canada’s International Trade Committee plans to visit in October. The German parliament will visit Taiwan at the beginning of October and at the end of the month. The House of Commons of the United Kingdom’s Foreign Affairs Committee also plans to complete its visit to Taiwan in November or December.

During Speaker Pelosi’s visit to Taiwan, Miles Guo pointed out that her visit to Taiwan is equivalent to the United States’ recognition of Taiwan’s legitimate and independent status, opening the door for countries around the world to visit Taiwan.
