Cambodia’s “Belt and Road” Human Trafficking by Chinese Communist Thugs

Myanmar’s “KK Park” is the terminus of human trafficking in Southeast Asia. After the arrest of She Zhijiang, a Cambodian Chinese and owner of the KK Park in Burma, human trafficking in Southeast Asia by the Chinese Communist gangs had emerged which shocked the world and that is only the tip of the iceberg. A U.S. State Department report which revealed the shady nature of human trafficking in Cambodia by Chinese gangs has also received media attention.

On August 16th, the official website of the U.S. Embassy in Cambodia released news that U.S. Agency for International Development (USAID) announced a new program to support Cambodian judiciary and legal services in investigating and prosecuting human trafficking crimes. This is part of the activities carried out by the U.S. International Development Office’s Countering Trafficking in Persons (CTIP) in Cambodia which will be overseen by the International Justice Mission (IJM) and implemented by the nonprofit organization, Winrock International.

The announcement of the plan has triggered public interest about the U.S. Government’s efforts in combating international human trafficking as the horrific inside story of human trafficking and fraud in Southeast Asia is being exposed.
