Biden Expresses Concern Over China’s Military Activity Near Taiwan

According to a report on August 8th, the U.S. President Joe Biden on Monday expressed concern about China’s increased military activity around Taiwan after U.S. House Speaker Nancy Pelosi wrapped up her visit to the island.

Biden told reporters that he is concerned about the actions taken by the Chinese military, but he doesn’t believe the Chinese Communist Party (CCP) is going to do more than they are now.

The CCP’s military exercises near Taiwan involving ballistic missile launches have heightened tensions in the region. According to the Japanese Government, some Chinese missiles have fallen into Japan’s exclusive economic zone, which has not happened before.

Pelosi visited Taiwan last week to show her support for the democratic island nation facing pressure from the authoritarian dictatorship of China, and it was the first such visit by a U.S. House Speaker in 25 years.China had been issuing strong warnings since the visit before Pelosi left. Taiwan is recognized by China as a rebellious province awaiting reunification with the mainland and would resort to force if necessary. The U.S. changed its diplomatic recognition from Taipei to Beijing in 1979, but has maintained unofficial relations with the island and has supplied it with weapons and spare military components to help it maintain adequate self-defense capabilities.

Miles Guo broke the news that not only can the U.S. military force destroy all the CCP’s military facilities within three minutes, but can also get real-time intelligence on the CCP’s military deployment. The U.S. aircraft carrier Reagan has now been inserted as the first sharp knife, and the U.S. and Japanese militaries cannot wait for the CCP to deliver the first strike to face a full military response.

The Chinese autocracy knows that the situation is over, but it will not give up and will continue to harass Taiwan. These rogue actions cannot shake the overall situation, and will only enhance its true face as the paper tiger and awaken more people to stand on the side of justice of taking down the CCP.
