Communist China Accuses Japan of ‘Behaving Very Badly on Taiwan’

It is reported on August 5th, Communist China said that “Japan is behaving very badly on Taiwan” after foreign ministers of G7 members issued a statement on Taiwan. The G7 foreign ministers called on Beijing on Wednesday to resolve tension around Taiwan Strait in a peaceful manner.

On Friday, foreign ministry of the Chinese Communist Party (CCP) voiced displeasure over the recent Japanese statement, said that Japanese leaders were ‘behaving very badly’ over tensions in Taiwan Strait. Communist China’s comment was released two days after US House of Representatives Speaker Nancy Pelosi finish her Taiwan visit on Wednesday.

“Your leaders have recently behaved very badly over the Taiwan issue… Japan bears a serious historical responsibility on the Taiwan issue, and Japan is not qualified to say anything to Beijing on Taiwan issue,” the CCP’s ministry spokesperson Hua Chunying said on a regular press briefing in Beijing.

The Communist regime considers Taiwan as part of its own territory and declared that it has not ruled out the option to forcefully occupy the self-governing island. The CCP was infuriated over the fact that Pelosi visited Taiwan, and announced that it would proceed ‘targeted’ military exercises in the Taiwan Strait.

Beijing harsh statement come after an appeal from all G7 foreign ministers, including Japan. In the appeal, G7 foreign ministers called on Communist China on Wednesday to resolve tension around Taiwan Strait with a peaceful manner. In addition, the CCP responded with cancellation of a planned meeting between its Foreign Minister Wang Yi and his Japanese counterpart.

Soon after its briefing, Communist China foreign ministry released another statement to sanction Pelosi and her immediate family in response to her “vicious” and “provocative” actions.
