U.S. Administration Continues to Point Finger at CCP for Supporting Russia

According to a June 30th report, a senior U.S. official said on Thursday, the United States stated that CCP evade sanctions for, or provide military equipment to Russia and argued that enforcement measures taken earlier this week targeted CCP companies, not the regime.

On Tuesday, the Commerce Department blacklisted five companies from the Chinese Communist Party (CCP) because of conclusive evidence that they supported Russia’s military and defense industrial base in its war against Ukraine.

According to previous warnings by U.S. officials, it will face the consequences if the CCP provides material support for Russia’s war effort.

However, proof beyond doubt, U.S. officials continue to play the role of deaf and dumb.

Referring to the trade blacklist, a senior Biden administration official, speaking on condition of anonymity, said, “China is not providing material support. The targeting is focused on supporting Russia’s entities , which is normal commercial enforcement action.”

In another report on Tuesday, Texas Rep. Michael McCaul (R-Texas) slammed the Biden administration for its “surprisingly weak” response to five Chinese companies over their contributions to Russia’s war against Ukraine.

McCaul said the White House should impose sanctions on the companies and make it impossible for them to do any international business.
