Mass Grave Was Found Near Mariupol

On April 21, Ukraine released a set of photos taken by a commercial satellite, revealing a new mass grave next to the Manhush original cemetery on the outskirts of the city of Mariupol. The Russian forces dug huge new trenches near Manhush then transported the Mariupol civilian bodies to fill them. Local officials have accused it of being the worst war crime of the 21st century.

Mariupol’s mayor pointed out, up to 9,000 civilian bodies may have been buried in mass graves. In 1941, the Nazi Germany killed up to 34,000 Jews and buried them in mass graves at Babyn Yar near Kyiv. Today, the Russian army is committing the same crime.
