Chongqing Pharmaceutical Factory Workers Prevailed Over CCP’s Police, Regaining Their Rights

It was reported on January 9 that the nucleic acid testing industry in Communist China, which has made a big fortune from the pandemic disasters, is now in chaos. With no one asking for its products, the factories are facing a wave of closures. On the 7th, a massive demonstration broke out by workers from Zybio pharmaceutical factory in Chongqing Dadukou (重庆大渡口). The company previously produced CCP virus nucleic acid test kits and automatic nucleic acid extractors. The workers reportedly had violent clashes with the factory management and recruitment agents.

A video has surfaced on the Internet showing this Chongqing pharmaceutical company laying off employees on a large scale without consulting or paying them. Angry workers smashed machines and threw tables, chairs, and raw materials in the plant. In the evening, a large number of special police officers arrived to maintain stability, yet at one point, were repelled by angry protesting workers.

A video shows a small group of special police officers fleeing in disarray, trapped in a corner, while workers behind them chase and throw miscellaneous objects at them, playing a game of mouse chasing a cat. Online videos also show the pharmaceutical company laying off more than 10,000 workers without consulting them and defaulting on their wages, causing nearly 20,000 workers to protest on the streets. The authorities sent a large number of armed police to suppress the riot.
