Young Brainwashed Nationalist Charged For Making Threatening Comments On A Democrat

According to a December 15th report by the media, the Prosecutor’s Office for the District of Massachusetts said that Wu Xiaolei, a 25-year-old Chinese student at Berklee College of Music, has been charged with stalking and threatening a democratic activist who posted signs against the tyranny of the Chinese Communist Party (CCP). Wu Xiaolei made his initial appearance in federal court in Boston on the afternoon of the 14th on the stalking charge and faces up to five years in prison, three years of supervised release, and a fine of up to US$250,000. The prosecutor’s office said Wu stalked a student near the Berklee College of Music campus in Boston who posted English-language flyers with slogans such as “We want freedom,” “We want democracy,” and “Stand with the Chinese people,” and even threatened to cut off the student’s hands. Wu claimed to have informed the CCP’s public security authorities of the student’s “anti-party and anti-state” behavior. In a statement, prosecutor Rachel Rawlings emphasized that the U.S. Department of Justice will always defend the constitutional right to free speech and political expression. But Wu’s alleged threats and harassment do not fall within the scope of free speech; rather, these are attempts to silence and intimidate democrats from lawfully expressing opposing views and are already suspected of violating personal safety. The United States will not tolerate any threats, harassment, or attempts at repression against those who peacefully express themselves.

Observers point out that the United States is a typical common-law country with case law as the primary source of law. A precedent is legally binding for subsequent cases and can serve as a basic guideline for subsequent judges trying similar cases. In this case, if Wu Xiaolei is found guilty, it will provide a legal basis for the West to purge the illegal infiltration of the CCP and the undermining of U.S. justice, clearing legal obstacles.
