U.S. Top Assets Managers’ Investments in CCP Related Companies

According to the U.S. government’s analysis of SEC filings, the top 20 U.S. institutions have invested approximately $1 trillion in Chinese securities. Among them, the largest investor, BlackRock, holds more than 1,500 securities valued at more than $155 billion, followed by JPMorgan Chase, which has more than $140 billion invested in Chinese entities, and Vanguard Group, which has more than $130 billion. Some other well-known institutions in the top 20 include Citigroup, Morgan Stanley, and Goldman Sachs.

 Other large groups of U.S. investors in Chinese securities also include different state pension funds. With an investment of more than $8.4 billion, California leads the way. The Alaska Permanent Fund Corporation follows with more than $2 billion, and the Teacher Retirement System of Texas ranks third with more than $1.1 billion. Other states with significant investments in Communist China, according to size, are New York, New Jersey, Colorado, Wisconsin, Kentucky, Ohio, Pennsylvania, Florida, North Carolina, Utah, Oregon, and Illinois.

 BlackRock’s investments in U.S.-listed Communist China concepts stock reached a total market value of approximately $9.6 billion, based on data disclosed by the U.S. government. A notable fact is that BlackRock relies heavily on pension funds for institutional funding. Among the top 10 states in which the BlackRock Group invests U.S. public pension funds are Washington, Florida, New York, Nevada, Nebraska, South Carolina, Oklahoma, Pennsylvania, Montana, and West Virginia. Washington contributes the most at $13 billion, followed by Florida at $10.7 billion and New York at $9.8 billion.

 BlackRock and several other major U.S. asset management funds have been criticized for investing in Communist China concepts stock, as these listed companies are linked to the Chinese Communist Party (CCP) directly or indirectly, supporting the CCP’s intelligence and military apparatus and committing human rights crimes.
