U.S. Suspends 26 Flights Bound For Communist China

On Aug 25th, the U.S. government said it would suspend 26 flights to Communist China in response to CCP government’s decision to cancel some American airline flights on the grounds of pandemic. The suspension decision was reported to affect flights by Xiamen, Air China, China Southern Airlines and China Eastern Airlines from Sep 5th to 28th.

The U.S. Department of Transportation said 19 flights of American Airlines, Delta Air Lines and United Airlines from Los Angeles to Communist China and 7 China Eastern flights from New York have been cancelled by CCP governments for the reason of CCP virus pandemic. According to CCP authorities’ current flight regulations, one flight to Communist China would be suspended if the number of passengers testing positive for CCP virus on that flight accounted for more than 4% of the total, while two flights would be suspended if this number exceeded 8%. In this regard, the U.S. has repeatedly expressed its objections to Communist China, saying the rules put “undue culpability on carriers.”

Since the outbreak of the pandemic, there have been ongoing disputes over air services between Beijing and Washington. There were typically 20 fights per week between two economies operated by three American carriers and four CCP’s airlines, far below more than 100 per week before the pandemic.

Analysts believe the U.S.’s antagonism and countermeasures against Communist China are spreading in various areas, leaving less and less space for CCP to implement its villainous means.
