Miles Guo Fighting Against the CCP in U.S. Court

Miles Guo, the number one enemy of the Chinese Communist Party (CCP), is being unfairly treated by the Department of Justice in the United States. On August 10th, 2022, the Connecticut Bankruptcy Court issued an order to grant the Chapter 11 trustee, Luc A . Despins, who has a conflict of interest with this case, the right to Despins to exercise economic and corporate governance rights in all Miles-controlled entities, including the rights to act in any other foreign country on behalf of the estates.

Luc A. Despins, the partner of Paul Hastings LLP, was appointed the trustee of Miles Guo’s bankruptcy case on July 7th, 2022. Google search data indicates that Paul Hastings LLP derives most of its revenue from hundreds of companies associated with the CCP, including PAG, CTBC bank, Air China, Guosen Securities, and China Pacific Insurance Company. Paul Hastings cannot blatantly deny that Despins had a conflict of interest as the trustee of Miles’s bankruptcy case. However, on July 9th, 2022, Paul Hastings removed from its corporate website information about its close ties to the CCP’s state enterprises.

Miles has publicly exposed the CCP’s dangerous plots against the Western world, especially the United States. On July 17th, 2022, during a GETTR live broadcast, Miles said, “The Chinese Communist Party has a long-standing plan about taking-over Taiwan, while weakening the dollars, causing chaos in America and destroying the U.S. international influence.”

Miles Guo has sacrificed everything since he started the Whistleblower Movement against the autocratic CCP regime. The Beijing government has illegally seized Miles’ tens of billions of dollars in assets, torturing his family and abusing his employees in China. The Beijing regime has been intimidating and threatening Miles for the past years through unrestricted legal warfare using western elites as the CCP’s agents in the United States.

Miles told his supporters on August 15th, “I am illegally forced to sign the agreement on transferring my apartment on the 18th floor of the Sherry-Netherland Hotel, which is not in my name, to the trustee, Luc A. Despins. I feel discriminated by the procedural injustice because the Connecticut Bankruptcy Court dismissed my bankruptcy petition without following any judicial process or giving any reasonable explanation. My legal team’s motion to investigate Luc A. Despins and his firm Paul Hasting’s frequent business dealings with PAX and the CCP-controlled companies was denied by the Connecticut Bankruptcy Court. However, I still believe in the American justice system, which grants everyone the right to appeal for justice.”
