Huawei R&D Center Escapes U.S. Sanctions

It was reported on August 13 that CCP’s Sinomine Resource Group had quietly taken over the Tanco property in Manitoba three years ago. The property is rich in cesium and lithium, the main rare metals required to manufacture high-tech products such as atomic clocks and batteries.

Despite Canada’s federal government having the right to block this acquisition on national security grounds. But the Tanco mine started producing lithium and shipping it back to China under its new CCP ownership. The huge capital investment required for the mining industry has forced Canadian mine owners to seek CCP funding at the early stages of development.

Reports show that Canada’s national security is now at serious risk after years of CCP control of these key mining industries. Not only that, but the ownership of the country’s precious and base mining companies, including Barrick Gold, First Quantum Minerals, and Ivanhoe Minerals, has been discreetly by the CCP.
