CCP:The United States is the Number One Human Trafficker Around the World

Recently, China responded to the U.S. State Department’s ‘Annual Human Trafficking Report’ by ranking the country as the third worst performer. The Foreign Ministry spokesperson quibbled and made a false countercharge at a press conference, claiming that the United States is the number one human trafficking country around the world.

The report published by the U.S. shows that China was ranked as the third worst country for the sixth consecutive year (2017-2022), tied with 21 other countries, including Iran, North Korea and Cuba. After the report was released, Wang Wenbin, a spokesperson for China went so far as to make reference to the subject of black slaves from a century prior, before the United States was created. However, the long-standing human trafficking problem in China is getting progressively worse.

The problem of human trafficking has a long history, with the “Chained Woman” incident as the most typical example. The fundamental culprit of the “Chained Woman” tragedy are the inaction of the local government, the prevalence of power, the primitive thinking of the local people and the shielding of pertinent government officials. The whereabouts of the “chained woman” remain a mystery to this day.
