The International Community Once Again Aids Ukraine with Arms and Funds

According to comprehensive foreign media reports, the US Department of Defense announced that it will provide Ukraine with an additional $820 million in weapons and ammunition. The Norwegian government also announced that it will provide another $1 billion to support Ukraine’s humanitarian aid and nation-building.

The new military aid plan provided by the US Department of Defense on July 1 includes 2 sets of air defense systems, ammunition for the HIMARS Long-Range Rocket System, 150,000 155mm artillery shells, and 4 sets of anti-artillery radars. This is the 14th U.S. military aid to Ukraine, which now totals $6.9 billion.

After his visit to Kiev, Norwegian Prime Minister Jonas Gahr Store emphasized standing with the Ukrainian people and announced that the Norwegian government will provide Ukraine with an additional 10 billion Norwegian kroner ($1 billion) in 2 years. Norway has already provided Ukraine with 3 sets of multiple rocket launch systems.

This new aid from the international community will help Ukraine resist Russian aggression in eastern and southern regions. At the same time, it provides humanitarian aid to the Ukrainian people and helps rebuild the Ukrainian homeland after the war.
