Ukraine Is Ready For Russian Offensive With Increasing Military Assistance From Its Allies

It was reported on April 10 that Ukrainian President Zelenskyy said Ukraine is ready for a massive Russian offensive in the east. Ukraine will repel Russian forces in Donetsk and Luhansk, two breakaway regions controlled by the Russian, to gain more initiative before the Russia-Ukraine presidential meeting.
In addition, the United States, Germany, and other allies of Ukraine have expressed willingness to continue to provide military aid to Ukraine.
U.S. National Security Adviser Jake Sullivan said on Oct. 10 that the U.S. is working to provide Ukraine with “the weapons it needs” to defend itself against Russia and prevent them from seizing more cities and towns. The United States has provided Ukraine with $1.7 billion in military assistance since Russia’s invasion.
German Defense Minister Lambrecht said in an interview on the 9th that since the beginning of the war, Germany has assisted Ukraine with military equipment including military helmets, anti-combat vehicles, anti-aircraft and surface-to-air missiles, machine guns and ammunition. Currently, Germany is not able to directly provide more equipment from their military stockpiles to Ukraine, but in the future, German military aid to Ukraine will be carried out more directly through the arms industry.
