Russia Keeps Bombing Ukraine, Despite Its Promises

On March 30, Russian forces broke their promises on their negotiated commitments and started bombing the capital of Ukraine, Kiev, the northern city of Chernigo, and the eastern besieged city of Mariupol.

It is reported that during the Russian-Ukrainian negotiations on the 29th, Russia promised that it would reduce its operations near Kiev and Chernigov and would cease its fire temporarily in the city of Mariupol so that the residents who were trapped could be evacuated on the 31st.

Ukrainian President Zelenskyy condemned Russia for breaking its promise, saying Russian forces are preparing to keep fighting. In addition, the United States confirmed that a Russian contingent near the capital Kiev is being redeployed.
