Massive sign-ups on GETTR: Podcast Host Joe Rogan and Congresswoman Majorie Taylor Greene Among Them

On January 2, the newly-launched social media platform, GETTR, has reported massive user sign-ups and achieved another high mark since the U.S. Independence Day.

Speaking on his live streaming, the GETTR CEO, Jason Miller, revealed that about 160,000 new users sign-up on 2 January. Jason Miller greeted the GETTR users on his live stream and expressed appreciation for the support among the people, including Georgia Congresswoman Majorie Taylor Greene. Twitter permanently suspended her account for spreading “Covid-19 misinformation.”

The suspension of Majorie Taylor Greene’s Twitter account has angered the public. This has caused many Twitter users to leave its platform and join GETTR. The Congresswoman also asked people to leave Twitter and said “You don’t keep eating bad food at a restaurant. When you do, you get up and leave and go somewhere else where you are treated well’ during an interview on Fox News.

Besides that, the podcast host, Joe Rogan, has also joined GETTR and marked his first post with “Just in case shit over at Twitter gets even dumber, I’m here now as well. Rejoice!” Jason Miller also said that Rogan “knows that Big Tech censorship is only going to get worse” and the people are waking up from this dangerous censorship reality. The alternative social media platform to these “cancel cultures” including GETTR empowers the people to speak the truth, especially during this Covid-19 pandemic.
