The United States Added Another 28 Chinese Companies to The Trade Blacklist

On March 2, 2023, the Biden administration announced it is adding 28 CCP companies to the entity blacklist, including BGI, a genetic research company, and Inspur, a cloud computing service. The U.S.-Communist China relations further deteriorate.

According to media reports, the U.S. Department of Commerce accused BGI Research and BGI Tech Solutions of their technology and products posing major risks and that they help the CCP government suppress domestic minorities in China. Inspur has also been accused of trying to buy U.S. products to support Communist China’s military modernization.

In addition to BGI and Inspur, 26 other CCP entities are also on the trade blacklist, and these blacklisted corporate entities will have more difficulty purchasing products from the United States.
