On December 1, fellow fighters of the New Federal State of China (NFSC) who were at the protest site against Paul Hastings LLP interviewed a lawyer in New York. His name is Garo G. Kapikian, and he practices immigration and criminal law. He has helped people who were persecuted in Communist China to obtain political asylum and also to get their relatives out. He understands what has been going on in communist China, and supports the NFSC’s protests against the law firms such as Paul Hastings in both America and Japan, as well as the White Paper Revolution, or A4 Revolution. He believes that China’s problems can only be solved by the brave Chinese people because the United States and the whole world would not help since their interests align with the CCP, and not with the people. Xi Jinping’s dictatorship and the Zero-Covid policy are horrifying, but if the whole country rises against the regime, there is nothing he can do.
The lawyer encouraged the Chinese people to stand up bravely. He hoped the NFSC will have success and said he would stand with the NFSC.
