An Indonesian Commercial Flight Pilot Died After Landing Plane

July 21st Thursday, a pilot of a commercial flight in Indonesia suffered a health emergency 15 minutes after taking off. The flight was forced to return, the crew managed to land the plane to the airport safely. The pilot was quickly sent to a hospital where he later died, the cause of death was not immediately known.

 On that day, the Citilink Indonesia flight, an Airbus A320 carrying over 100 passengers departed from Surabaya’s international airport of East Java heading to Ujung Pandang city of South Sulawesi province.

 Later in the day, CEO of Citilink Dewa Kadek Rai said in a statement, the airliner had conducted health checks prior to the flight for all crew on duty and that they were “declared fit or airworthy.”

 All the passengers on the plane and the rest of the crew were safe and the flight later resumed and flew its destination with a new aircraft and crew.

 There has been a number of similar situations worldwide of airplane pilots suffered health emergency in the air then later died from issues like cerebral infarction or heart problems. The question remains unanswered concerning the unprecedented rising death of pilots
