Japan Lawmakers Plan Visit Taiwan Next Week

According to Japanese media on July 19th, a group of Japanese lawmakers across different parties are planning to visit Taiwan next Wednesday. It is reported that the list of members expected to visit Taiwan this time will include Shigeru Ishiba, former secretary-general of the Liberal Democratic Party, Yasukazu Hamada, a member of the House of Representatives and former defense minister, Seiji Maehara, a representative of the Democratic Party and member of the House of Representatives of Japan, and Kōzō Watanabe, a member of the Democratic Party and House of Representatives in the National Diet, etc.

Taiwan Foreign Ministry spokesman Joanne Ou confirmed the news and welcomed the Japanese delegation to visit Taiwan. He will announce the list of members of the visiting group and details of the itinerary later.

Starting on July 17, the New Federal State of China has successively revealed the CCP’s highest-level military secrets, including its strategic plan for Taiwan. Unexpectedly, the impacts caused by the disclosures were unbelievable. Only a day later, the United States and Japan announced their plans for senior officials to visit Taiwan. According to Miles Guo, since he announced the disclosure of the CCP’s military secrets a day before, the CCP has quickly launched a series of cyber hacking attacks against him and even applied the “carrot and stick” approach, trying to prevent the exposure using every possible method.
