Communist China faces high unemployment rate

On June 15th, at the press conference of the State Council Information Office of Communist China, Fu Linghui, spokesperson of the National Bureau of Statistics, and director of the National Economic Comprehensive Statistics Department, said that the unemployment rate of young people is high, and this needs to be taken seriously. The main reason is attributed to the Chinese Communist Party virus (Covid-19) pandemic.

Fu said that due to the impact of the pandemic, the productivity and operation of enterprises have been difficult, and their ability to absorb employees has declined. At the same time, young people are more inclined to apply for stable positions, which has exacerbated the contradiction between supply and demand. In May, the unemployment rate for young people aged 16-24 was 18.4%, up 0.2 percentage points from the previous month. This year, the number of college graduates in the country has reached 10.76 million. With the arrival of the graduation season, college graduates will enter the labor market in a concentrated manner, which may further increase the employment pressure.

The unemployment rate here has not yet included the 200 million of what the CCP call as “flexibly employed” population. It is well known that the CCP’s statistics are falsified. The economic data it gives out always only reports good news and avoid bad news, and the data that is not good for the economy is either whitewashed or covered up. Now the official press conference is formally addressing the problem of high unemployment, indicating that the actual situation has become very serious.
