Denmark Referendum to Join EU Joint Defense

On June 1, the final result of the Danish referendum supported the defense policy of joining the EU. Analysts point out that this is the decision of the true public will, and that freedom-loving people have always recognized the evil nature of China and Russia.
Denmark is the only EU member state that does not belong to the EU’s defence and security policy. The referendum results show that nearly 67% of voters support the EU’s common security and defence policy, or “EU defense policy.” Denmark’s Prime Minister Frederiksen said after the referendum results were released, “We have sent a clear signal to Putin. When Putin invades a free and independent country, when Putin threatens peace and stability, our EU countries will stay close together.”
European allies must take greater responsibility for their own security, and Denmark will be able to participate in joint military operations and cooperate on acquiring joint military defense capabilities under the EU Defence Policy program.
