IMF Chief Tests Positive for CCP Virus

On April 28, an IMF spokesperson said that IMF Managing Director Kristalina Georgieva tested positive for the CCP virus and is currently experiencing mild symptoms. She is working remotely in self-quarantine at home, its’ reported that she is fully vaccinated and boosted.

The news reportedly comes just days after the conclusion of the 2022 Spring Meetings of the International Monetary Fund (IMF) and World Bank Group, held from April 18 through 24, attended by central bank governors, finance and development ministers, and private sector executives.
