Refugees Reaching Italy Borders Since Russia-Ukraine War

There have been 87225 refugees arriving in Italy since the Russia-Ukraine war, according to data coming from the Italian Interior Ministry. Luciana Lamorgese of Italian Interior Minister said, “This is the biggest umanitarian disaster since World War II.”

The Italian Government is working closely with its Civil Protection Council and all the relevant organizations to tackle this problem. As reported, around 40% of the refugees will be received by the Lombardy region in the north.
