UK and Canada Declared the Diplomatic Boycott of Communist China’s Beijing Winter Olympics

On Dec 8th, due to CCP authorities’ atrocity on human rights issues, the UK and Canada joined the ranks of the declaration on the diplomatic boycott of the Beijing 2022 Winter Olympics with the U.S., Lithuania, Australia, and New Zealand.

Canadian prime minister Justin Trudeau said, Canada was extremely concerned about CCP’s repeated human rights abuses, thereby, Canada won’t send any diplomatic representatives to participate in the Beijing Winter Olympics. On the same day, British prime minister Boris Johnson also expressed that the UK government won’t have restrictions on athletes’ participation, but will have no hesitation in boycotting CCP’s Winter Olympics diplomatically.

In this regard, Mr. Guo also revealed in his live broadcast on Dec 8th that the leaders of 57 countries had previously agreed to attend the Winter Olympics, whereas now only 3 leaders still wished to attend on condition that Xi Jinping must meet them in person. Mr. Guo explained that this demonstrated the bankruptcy of both Xi Jinping’s personal politics in the Winter Olympics and CCP’s national credit.Mr. Guo emphasized that the cancellation of the Beijing Winter Olympics dealt a more severe blow to CCP than the suspension of its WTO membership. What’s more, this meant that any international event hosted by Communist China will be reexamined in the future.
