Sen. Hawley Publicly Replies to Xi Jinping, Declassified Virus Bill to Become Law

According to a tweet by Josh Hawley, a Republican Senator from Missouri, on March 8th, the Communist China regime wrote a letter to him specifically requesting that he withdraw the “COVID-19 Origin Act of 2023” (S.619), which they called a “political manipulation.” The letter from CCP also claimed that the virus originated from the United States, specifically from Fort Detrick and the University of North Carolina.

In response, Senator Hawley publicly replied to Communist China’s newly elected President Xi Jinping on Twitter, stating that the US House of Representatives unanimously passed a bill on March 10th to declassify US government intelligence on the origin of COVID-19. In his letter, Senator Hawley also called out Xi Jinping and the CCP, saying, “I know you are interested in this bill because your Communist Officers have written letters to my office demanding we renounce it, in their usual lecturing, idiotic style. But the bill will soon be law.”
