UK Imposed Additional Sanctions on Russia and Banned Jet Fuel Export

According to NEWSIS on June 24th, CNN and other media reported that the British government announced on its official website on the 23rd (local time) to impose additional sanctions against Russia including restricting jet fuel and its additives export. Namely, starting from the day before, export, supply, delivery, making available, and transfer of all related goods and technology have been prohibited.

 Areas affected by the additional sanctions include maritime transport, oil refining goods, critical industrial materials, products that can be used for internal repression, and biochemical weapons, etc.

 The measures ban the use of GBP and EUR banknotes in Russia, prohibit to pass it on to anyone associated with Russia, and restrict the import of products produced and commissioned from Russia, steel import related technologies, finance, capital, and brokerage services.
