US Eliminates CCP Virus Test Requirements to Enter the Country

The Biden Administration declared on Friday (June 10th) that it will drop the requirement for international travelers to provide negative COVID-19 test results prior to entering the United States. As a result, this requirement end at 12:01 a.m. ET on Sunday (June 12th).

White House spokesperson Kevin Munoz also tweeted on Friday that the CDC will stop COVID-19 testing requirements for airline passengers entering the United States.He said that the CDC is evaluating the requirement based on science and virus variants. In this regard, experts pointed out that the entry test requirement does not seem to work in the view of the CCP virus had spread across the United States.

Currently, many countries have silently allowed the policy of living with the virus. Subsequently, these countries have also gradually eased the pandemic prevention restrictions. The Canadian government began abolishing entry testing requirements on April 1st.
