Ukraine Launching Book of Executioners” To Document Russian War Crimes”

On June 7, Ukrainian President Zelenskyy said that Ukraine is launching the “Book of Executioners” project to document the heinous war crimes committed by Russia during its aggression against Ukraine.

Zelenskyy pointed to the Executioner’s Book as a key element in his commitment to hold Russian soldiers who committed murder, rape, and looting against Ukrainians accountable. Ukrainian prosecutors say more than 12,000 Russian war crimes have been registered which involve more than 600 suspects since the Kremlin invaded Ukraine on February 24.

Although Russia accused Ukraine of fabricating facts and creating falsehoods in the Butcha incident, Zelenskyy countered that “These are concrete facts about concrete individuals guilty of concrete cruel crimes against Ukrainians,”.
