On June 4, a hailstorm hit Beijing. A ‘devil’s face’ appeared in the sky

June 4 is the 33rd anniversary of the Tiananmen Square Massacre. Heavy rain and hailstones fell suddenly in many places in Beijing. Huge and strange orange clouds appeared in the sky, resembling a “devil’s face”, causing heated discussions in public opinion.

At about 7 o’clock in the evening, a huge orange cloud appeared in the sky of Beijing. Meteorological experts said it was a cumulonimbus cloud, usually accompanied by hail and strong winds.

The Beijing Meteorological Bureau issued a yellow thunder and lightning warning after the “devil’s face” clouds appeared.

According to videos and photos posted on the Internet, heavy rain and hailstones fell in many parts of Beijing that night. The hail fell heavily, accompanied by strong winds and rain, and the ground was instantly covered in white hailstones.

There are also photos demonstrating that someone stepped on a hailstone with bare feet, and the hailstone covered the instep; and a large tree was overpowered by the hailstorm and strong wind, and fell on a car.

“Wow, what a surprise hailstorm.” It completely destroyed my garden. The plants were all smashed to bits. “I just want to cry,” a Weibo user in Beijing cried.

A Beijing netizen said significantly: “On June 4th, at 8:00 p.m., lightning and thunder began to hail and torrential rain in Beijing and the suburbs.” It was still more than 30 degrees at noon, and there was a hailstone storm at night. It was all done in a day. It’s interesting.

On June 4, 1989, the Chinese Communist Party dispatched troops to massacre students and citizens who were peacefully petitioning in Tiananmen Square for democracy. However, the CCP government has strictly blocked the real information about June 4 for years till now and lied to the Chinese people that no murder was committed.
