U.S. Supports Transferring Seized Russian Oligarch’s Assets to Ukraine

It was reported on April 26, U.S. Attorney General Garland said at a congressional hearing on the same day that the Biden administration supports legislation that would require some of the proceeds seized from Russian oligarchs to be “transferred directly to Ukraine” in the hope of pressuring Putin to end Russia’s attack on Ukraine as soon as possible. During the hearing, Garland denounced Russia’s war of aggression against Ukraine as a “terrible atrocity.” The U.S. Justice Department, under Garland’s leadership, has created a Task Force called “KleptoCapture” to help enforce sanctions against Russian government officials and oligarchs, targeting their yachts, aircraft, real estate, and other assets. The first DOJ sanctions action against Russia came after Spanish law enforcement took control of and seized a $90 million 77-meter-long luxury yacht at the request of the U.S. government.

In response to this new legislation by the U.S. Department of Justice, Miles Guo noted in a post on Gettr on the 26th that the assets stolen from the Chinese people by the CCP over the years will be confiscated and transferred to the New Federal State of China(NFSC) and returned to the Chinese people. According to Miles’s earlier exposure, the assets stolen from the people by senior Chinese Communist Party officials amounted to tens of trillions of dollars.
