Wang Xiaohong Takes the Office With 100-Day-Operation Plan

On June 25th, the Communist China Ministry of Public Security held a “100-day operation” meeting to ensure public security in the summer. This is following the beating case in Tangshan, Hebei Province. Minister of Public Security Wang Xiaohong took the office on June 24th and announced the operation on the next day.

During the 100-day-operation, multiple projects have been mentioned to be strengthen, including enhancing the “political security measures,” the investigation and resolution of conflicts and disputes, the fight against crimes, social control, and law enforcement capabilities.

The meeting pointed out that it is necessary to strictly prevent and severely crack down on all kinds of infiltration, subversion, disruption and destruction activities by “hostile forces,” while resolutely defending “the security of national power, institutional security, and ideological security.” During the meeting, several discussion have been made, including to the necessary of resolutely resolving all kinds of security risks, “maintain social stability,” and “take practical actions to welcome the 20th National Party Congress.”
