U.S. Study Finds Nearly 1/5 of Adults Infected with CCP Virus Retain Sequelae Symptoms

U.S. department of health officials said on June 22nd that according to recent survey, almost one fifth U.S. adults who reported to have been infected with the Chinese Communist Party (CCP) virus still experience various long-term symptoms, including fatigue, rapid heartbeat, fast breathing, cognitive impairment, chronic pain, abnormal sensory perception, muscle weakness. These symptoms make people feel weak and can last for weeks or months after the initial infection.

An analysis conducted by the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention discovered that younger adults are more likely to have ongoing symptoms than older adults. Women are more likely to have long-term symptoms than men. Nearly 9 percent of Hispanic adults have long-term symptoms, which is a higher rate than in non-Hispanic white and black adults, and twice as high as in non-Hispanic Asian adults.

In addition, the survey also shows that the figures in this regard vary from state to state. Kentucky and Alabama reported higher percentage of adults with long-term symptoms, while Hawaii, Maryland and Virginia had the lowest.
