Fauci Continues Fund the U.S. top Enemy Using Taxpayers’ Dollars

It is reported that Dr. Anthony Fauci, the director of the National Institute of Allergy and Infectious Diseases (NIAID) had an online conversation with Senator Rogen Marshall at a hearing of the Congressional Committee on Health, Education, Labor and Pensions (HELP). Fauci said that while U.S. intelligence agencies assess the Chinese Communist Party (CCP) regime as America’s biggest adversary, he cannot commit to preventing federal funds from flowing to CCP’s scientific research.

According to the National Institutes of Health (NIH) website, since 2020, the NIH has awarded a total of $8.3 million in grants to the Chinese Center for Disease Control and Prevention (CCDC) and its affiliated National Centers for AIDS/STD Control and Prevention, as well as five top public universities in mainland China and Hong Kong.

Although the fund was not directly paid in U.S. dollars, it was later transferred to a CCP’s agency through U.S. organizations such as EcoHealth Alliance. The Alliance collaborated with Wuhan Institute of Virology (WIV) to conduct experiments related to the coronavirus, some experts say these experiments are gain of function research, i.e., experiments that increase the pathogenicity or transmissibility of the virus.

In the intelligence community’s 2022 annual threat assessment, the CCP is designated as one of the biggest threats to the United States, along with Russia, Iran, Syria and North Korea. Senator Marshall said that as far as he knows, only Communist China is receiving research funding from the United States, and he asked Fauci: ” When will you as director of NIAID stop funding research in China?
