US and Japan Aircraft Carriers Enter the Western Pacific to Deter the CCP

It was reported on May 18 that the U.S. Navy amphibious assault ship Tripoli had recently arrived in Western Pacific to support the Lincoln and Reagan carriers in the region. Together with Japan Maritime Self-Defense Force helicopter carrier Izumo, has formed a 4-to-1 deterrence pattern with the Chinese Navy Liaoning aircraft carrier.
Two weeks ago, Tripoli went on an independent deployment from Naval Base San Diego, California, to the Western Pacific Ocean without public announcement. With a displacement of 45,000 tons, Tripoli attaches importance to aviation combat, carrying F-35B Lightning fighters and various types of helicopters that can take off and land at short range or land vertically. It also has the qualities of a light aircraft carrier. Last month, the ship completed a proof of concept for the U.S. military “Lightning Vessel,” a small aircraft carrier that can effectively play a maritime control and sea denial role.
On May 17, in a Gettr video, Miles Guo said that the U.S. would next line up around Communist China. Meanwhile, the U.S. will speed up the purge of people who take American passports but work for the Chinese Communist Party.
