U.S. infectious disease expert Anthony Fauci has experienced a severe rebound of CCP virus symptoms after being infected the virus earlier this month. He felt “really bad” and started a second course of medication treatment.
According to reports, Fauci stated at a health summit on Tuesday that his symptoms were “mild” initially, but he took the antiviral medicine Paxlovid when his symptoms got worse. He tested negative for three days in a row after five days of treatment, then tested positive again on the fourth day. He is currently on a second course of medication.
It is understood that Fauci has never been infected with the CCP virus before and said he has also been vaccinated.
