According to data released by the US State Department on August 14th, the number of student visas granted to citizens of Communist China has fallen by more than 50%, compared to that before the Chinese Communist Party (CCP) virus pandemic. The US granted 31,055 F-1 visas to Chinese people in the first half of 2022 compared with 64,261 over the same period in 2019 for foreign students enrolled in US academic programs, comprising elementary, secondary, and higher education students.
One of the causes of this outcome is the US entry policy for pandemic prevention. On the other hand, the CCP has assigned spies disguised as students to steal the intellectual property rights of American universities, endangering the US national security, and the US has closed research institutions one after another such as Confucius Institutes in recent years. In 2020, the Trump administration issued an executive order prohibiting Chinese undergraduate and graduate students with connections to military entities from entering the US. Some college administrators claim the decree has caused the repudiation of even those applicants who had no explicit military affiliations. The Biden administration reinstated the visa application procedure for Chinese students in May 2021 and declared they are welcome, but Trump’s executive order was not reversed.
The communist dictatorship’s major international propaganda media claimed in incredibly pedantic terms that China had been the main source of foreign students studying in the US, who brought lucrative income to American universities. This is a good sign that the Chinese regime still intended to kidnap the US with money.
