CCP Uses Visa Application Outsourcing Agencies to Persecute White Paper Movement Protestors

The White Paper Movement seems to be calming down in recent days. CCP appears to relax its strict epidemic control policy in many parts of the country, while ramping up its efforts to arrest the participating protestors.

Miles Guo revealed that before his visit to Saudi Arabia, Xi Jinping ordered a thorough investigation. So far, more than 20,000 people have been detained. Many of the protesters took advantage of the relaxed policy to apply for visas to escape from the CCP, but found themselves falling into traps set up by the CCP.

Many embassies in China outsource their visa application process to contract companies. Under the CCP regulations, these companies must work with local companies to process materials for visa applications before the embassies make their decisions whether to approve or deny the applications. This arrangement suited well for the embassies. It posts no security threat, saves cost, improves efficiency and brings in more tourists to boost their economies.

But the local Chinese companies working with the embassies are required by law to provide any information about the visa applications sought by CCP’s state security apparatus. Thus, those Chinese companies handing visa application materials were basically collection information about the visa applicants for the CCP’s state security. CCP believes all visa applicants nowadays were protestors of the White Paper Movement who are trying to flee the countries to avoid persecution.
