War started by Russia in Ukraine is Becoming Increasingly Difficult

Special Consul, Dan Rice, to Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces of Ukraine Valeriy Zaluzzhnyi said that Russia is facing “more and more difficulties conducting war in Ukraine.”

Russian President, Vladimir Putin, launched an invasion into Ukraine on February 24th this year. His reason is to “liberate” the Donbas region and to achieve “de-Nazification” of the Ukrainian Government, despite the fact that the Ukrainian President Zelenskyy himself is Jewish.

Although Putin wanted a Blitzkrieg-style victory, Ukrainian army’s resistance has been beyond his expectation. After 5 months of brutal combat, Russian military has made little progress in occupying Ukrainian territory. Battles fought in Ukraine have been mostly in the Eastern region and the Russians are facing many difficulties.

Rice claimed in an interview on Friday that Russia’s invasion is very difficult for the invaders and it is expected that Russia will have “more and more difficulties conducting war in Ukraine.”

Russia will have more challenges in Ukraine. Rice applauded Ukrainian army’s command, control, logistics and concerted defence manoeuvre. Rice also said that “The logistics system of the Russian army requires centralized depots, due to the palletized manner of logistics. This makes excellent targets for HIMARS or M777 precision guided strikes.”Rice added that Russia’s weakness lies in its leadership’s top-down command model which remains the same as Soviet Russia which makes Russian army’s field command very exposed and benefit the opposition.
