The CCP Government Was Hunting Overseas Uyghurs

According to NBC News on April 25, the Woodrow-Wilson Center in a recent report titled “The Great Wall of Steel”, pointed out that not only did the CCP government perpetrate physical abuse and genocide against Uyghurs in China, but also more than 5,500 overseas Uyghurs are also under its encirclement and suppression.

The report shows that with help of countries such as Saudi Arabia, Egypt, the United Arab Emirates, and North Africa, not only did CCP launch cyberattacks on these overseas Uyghurs, but they also threatened their families in Communist China in an attempt to clamp down on criticism of the CCP’s violent repression of the Muslim minorities.

More than 1,500 Uyghurs in the Middle East or North Africa are currently being detained or repatriated, facing imprisonment and torture from the CCP police. The report also provides unprecedented detail on the scale of Uyghurs who have been exiled abroad, the persecution of the Chinese authorities against Uyghurs, and the CCP’s cooperation with related countries.
