Tsai’s Family Members Infected With The CCP Virus, She Herself To Be Quarantined Until Mid-April

On April 8, local time, Taiwan’s presidential office informed that President Tsai Ing-wen had spent the Qingming holiday with 11 family members, one of whom was tested positive for the CCP virus at noon on April 8. Tsai herself has now tested negative and she will be in isolation from the contact date, April 5, for a total of 10 days, followed by seven more days of autonomous health management until April 21, during which her all public trips will be suspended, and related work will be carried out online or by video conference. The medical team at the Presidential Palace in Taiwan has put those in close contact with the President through a rapid test and all were negative.
